M62 Junction 23: Huddersfield (west)
M62 J23: Outlane Interchange is where the A640 New Hey Road and the A643 Lindley Moor Road meet the motorway, at the Mount Roundabout. Seen from above, the junction looks a little like a bicycle: two round wheels joined by a frame, with a seat pointing up towards the rear.
Outlane, Mount and Sowood are beside it, and Elland is about two miles north-east. Slaithwaite station is about two and a half miles south, Lockwood station about three miles south-east and the Accu Stadium about four miles east.
Junction 22 is about six and a half miles west, and Ainley Top (J24) about a mile and a half north-east.
