M62 J27: Gildersome Interchange is where the M621 heads into Leeds, along with the A62 Gelderd Road, the A650 and the B6135. Birstall is a little over a mile south-west, and Howden Clough, Adwalton and Bruntcliffe are beside the junction.
Oakwell Hall and Bagshaw Museum are each about a mile and a half away, west and south. Morley station is about two miles east, and Fulneck Moravian Museum about three miles north.
Chain Bar Interchange (J26) is about three and a half miles west; Tingley Roundabout (J28) nearly three miles east.
