M62 J34: Whitley Bridge Interchange is where the A19 Selby Road crosses the motorway, towards York to the north and Doncaster to the south. Whitley and Eggborough are the villages beside it, and Knottingley is about three and a half miles west. The countryside opens out here into flat farmland.
Hensall station is about a mile and a half east, and Moto Ferrybridge Services about four and a half miles west.
